The cabins at King Baker Creek Resort are absolutely disgusting. The smell of mildew and mold are the first thing you smell walking into the cabin. The cabins are not well kept. Mold is growing under the toilet. The shower was grossly dirty. They provide plates, cutlery, toaster, etc but all of it had to be washed before we could use it. The mattresses we had to sleep on were probably never updated since the place opened. You could see the indents where people have slept. The pull out couch, my kids had to sleep on, was never updated. It had cuts in the cushions and smelt awful. The veranda had a double bed and single bed, with only screens on the windows and was cold in the night. My sons asthma was worse while he slept. Pretty sure there is mold in the walls. One of the cabins was partially underwater with all the rain they got and boards were falling apart. I will never be staying at this resort again. The owner/manager is a very disrespectful human being. Instead of talking with parents about their kids, he yelled at the 11 year olds in their tent at 2am to be quiet. All the girls were doing was laughing a little at a movie, not being loud at all. Being adults we were sitting around the only fire and playing cards and the owner came out screaming at us to go to bed. Absolutely disrespectful. The cabin was so awful that I will be putting in a complaint with the B.C. Health Board.

We booked site with 34 ft trailer the site was so confined we could not back our trailer in. He offered to use his tractor. If we had of fit it would have taken entire site with no room to move outside trailer. He refused deposit return so it cost 250.00 we did not stay. We lost deposit. He was not willing to admit the trailer did not fit in spot. Very bad customer relation. If the spot could fit our trailer We would have stayed. Caution ask for picture of site before you book. A RIP off beware

This site is made for trailers. Campsites are located on trailer pads and ours was all gravel. Sites are side by side and quite cramped. It's located off the water which is very nice, and has a beach. Bathrooms have lots of spiders nests, but are usable. Payment became an issue here - we decided to only stay one night as we were sleeping on a gravel pad. The owner became very upset and charged us a deposit fee well above what was listed on the website. He also swore at us a couple times after we shared our reason for leaving. We were not engaging in the argument at all. In the end, he processed the a payment above the terms listed and we are trying to now settle the issue through the credit card authorities.

Be sure to check out on time or you will be charged an extra day. The wife and I were staying for two days and our daughter and her 18month old grandson stayed for the first night. Our daughter and her son stayed around the next day waiting for her husband to come pick them up. This campground charged me for them to stay another day because they didn't checkout at 11am and leave the campground. Very cramped space for trailers.
