When myself and my husband went in to Performance Vision in the West End of Vancouver to have our eyes tested and purchase frames, the customer service was absolutely wonderful. Sales associate Sue was the right mix of friendly, being present with us plus a great sense of humour. But as well, Sue was informative but not 'pushy', allowing us to feel enlightened yet autonomous. In-house Optometrist, Dr.Yip was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. When it came time to choose frames, there was a wide variety of styles to choose from. Sue was really helpful here, offering styles to try and tips on what works best with which facial structures. She offered comments that were practical and honest. When it came time to choosing the features we wanted each lens to have, we were explained the various features and benefits, but didn't feel pressured. After our glasses were purchased we were encouraged to try them out, give them each a reasonable amount of time to get used to them, but also encouraged to then bring them back for adjustments if we felt unsatisfied. I would definitely recommend Performance Vision.

Amazing place!! From the doctors to the receptionists, they all are super friendly and professional. They have a great selection of glasses and they gave me a discount so the glasses I picked would adjust better to my budget. Honestly, this place is amazing! If you're looking to get new glasses, this is the place to go.

I went to Performance Vision recently for a contact lens fitting. I'm in my fifties so was looking to try multifocals. The optometrist (sorry, can't recall his name) checked my prescription and supplied me with trial packs of a number of different lens. He then personally followed up by phone a couple of weeks later to check how the trials were going. Based on my short-distance issues, he suggested tweaking the prescription and ordered in some new trials. I'm literally just about to go pick them up. Excellent service. Don't be put off by the construction of the new building next door. It's worth taking the trouble to find a parking spot.

I went in for an eye emergency. The receptionist was amazing and compassionate and got me into see Dr. Yip immediately, who then had me to an eye surgeon within an hour. The follow-up was just as good. Dr. Yip answered all of my questions and was thorough, efficient and kind.
