Amazing ice cream can be found at this gem of a store in Thornton Ontario. I Ordered the chocolate peanut butter scoop waffle coan and was not disappointed. Friendly staff where quick to make order. Everything was kept safe due to C19. Amble benches to sit down to eat your treat. Highly recommended!
I always ask for one scoop then after the server has placed it in my cone I ask for a second scoop. That way the size of one scoop has already been established and the server has revealed their hand. I this case only one scoop was needed and delicious Kawartha Dairy ice cream as well. Yummy! Not sure why they need two ice cream shops across from each other in a small town like Thornton but if the competition encourages fair prices and bigger scoops then I am all for it. Great little place on a hot day.
Visited during covid, staff wearing a mask and behind a barrier. I was happy to see the employer taking good care of them. Would definitely support this business and visit again.
This is by far the best ice cream store in Thornton. Ive lived here for more than twenty years and nothing comes close. Great people. Great service. Always with a smile. On my way this evening! Thank you. Keep it up. H. B.
