I made my first visit to Albert Optical and was very pleased with the quality of the service and the professionalism of everyone there. Dr. Stokes was very thorough and caring, she went the extra distance to evaluate and explain the significance of some scar tissue in one eye that I did not know existed. Albert Gabbay provided excellent assistance and friendly, unhurried advice when I selected my new frames. The hygiene protocols were very well managed. It’s a great pleasure to support a local business that provides such excellent customer service. They are far superior to all opticians that I have used in the past and I have been wearing glasses for over 50 years. I recommend Albert Opticians without any hesitation.

My partner and I just purchased new frames and upgraded lenses after having our eyes tested by Albert Opticians. Their in house optometrists are excellent and use amazing state of the art equipment. As customers for about 30 years, we’ve always been extremely satisfied with the service from Albert’s highly qualified staff along with the wide selection of very fashionable and excellent quality frames with the newest lens technology. This visit was no exception. We know we can always count on Albert’s to help us select the right glasses and fit them properly. They wouldn’t recommend anything that doesn’t suit us, even if there’s nothing that does currently in stock.
Best optician in all of Ottawa. Great optometrists but mostly, great staff: knowledgeable, efficient, courteous, fully bilingual. They won't let you buy frames that don't fit you! LOL Stupendous selection of frames from all around the world. Some expensive, some cheap. They carry ultra quality lenses that the other opticians don't even know exist... I fully recommend, and will not ever go anywhere else! Bravo Albert !
I needed new frames and ended up trying on and buying the first recommendation! Guillaume just knows me so well. The selection of glasses is amazing, but the service and the people are somehow even better! I’m currently wearing the most perfect glasses for me (purple and light as air to help the stress of my concussion) and when I say perfect, I mean PERFECT! Thank you to everyone at Alberts for finding me not one, not two, but three amazing frames (two glasses and one sunglasses) and lenses that aren’t coke bottle thick... even though my prescription is so bad... I will be coming here for as long as I can for Guillaume’s advice and expertise.
