Modern Motorcycling has been the only shop I've been to, I live within the area and I wanted to support local. Today I brought in my motorcycle for a 12k service and Zak, the head technician took care of everything that I requested within less than 2 hours; he even gave me a ride from my home to the shop to pick up my bike before the snow settled. Very stand up individual, thank you kindly for service. Would highly recommend Zak for your motorcycle needs! Amazing driving skills by the way Zak, loved seeing you rip the streets. DISHONEST people. I am utterly disgusted at the terrible work done. My bike broke down 6 times which was frightening and dangerous. Not only could I not ride my bike (that I purchased from them) for 3 months because they did not complete the work properly, I had to go through the Better Business Burreau. Still the work they did, was horrible and they put on an old used clutch handle without telling me thinking I would not notice. To finish it off, they left handprints and knocked off my hand warmer. Would you like to be treated like this? Do you want your bike handled like this? DO NOT SUPPORT THEM! Unless you like being yelled at and spoken down to.
Russ and Aaron were awesome (sry in advance if I got your names wrong), super friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and professional. I just bought a helmet, jacket, gloves and shoes from them as I just signed up for Pacific Riding School. For a novice like me, they were patient, showed me all their offerings, telling me the pros and cons, letting me try on and didnt pressure me into anything. Above all, they gave me an awesome price! Highly recommend.
Modern is THE place to go for gear! Prices are great and everyone is super nice and helpful! I love going there because it feels like I'm visiting friends getting lots of help picking things out or if I need to order things in, that's super fast as well.
