I have seen Dr. Johal in the past at both his Kitchener and Cambridge location. He's always a pleasure to meet, and I appreciate his thoroughness in the eye exam and how he explains things. If you're looking for an optometrist I would definitely recommend his clinic.

DO NOT GO TO THIS OPTOMETRIST IF YOU HAVE A STRONG PRESCRIPTION I was scheduled for corrective eye surgery last year. A few months before the surgery I went to this optometrist and was given a significantly stronger prescription with a wildly different axis (my prescription is -9.00, so quite strong). Because of this I thought my eyes were changing and cancelled my surgery. I got glasses and realized the prescription was very wrong and went back to have it fixed a couple months later. The eye doctor told me that it wasn't his fault, that I had bought too cheap glasses (not true, I have bought glasses from the same place my whole life) but he reluctantly reduced the prescription. I was now (a year later) able to go to my normal eye doctor who says my eyes have barely changed in the past 5 years and that I am still a candidate for surgery, however I no longer have the insurance coverage for the 7000 surgery. Thanks to this optometrist it will cost me thousands of dollars to be able to see. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

The associate was rude and I came here three times to get an appointment and I really need my exam to be done and they give my spot to some other guy. I broke my glasses and I am amazon delivery guy and I work 7 days but they didn’t care and have to wait to get appointment at Hakim opticals. Never coming back at this place again and I don’t recommend to anyone to visit there.
