I did the Ottawa Highlights tour (3-3.5 hours) with tour guide Hans at the end of August 2020. Prior to the tour, I called and had a chance to talk to Maria (owner) who was very helpful and understanding with any questions/concerns I had. I just want to say that even with the pandemic going on, all staff have been very courteous, respectful, and took all precautions required to ensure everyone was comfortable and safe. I thought the tour was very nice and allowed me to see and learn things about Ottawa I've never really seen before...and this is my 4th time visiting this city! We got to visit cool little neighbourhoods like Little Italy and The Glebe, travel along the Rideau Canal, as well as go into the Quebec side to check out some scenic views! I've been in many tours myself in other cities. You definitely get a lot of value here and I thoroughly enjoyed my time. The next time I'm in Ottawa, I'll definitely check out their other tour sessions and rent a bike on my free time!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the experience - I highly recommend it! Our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide shared many memorable historical facts and fun anecdotes about Ottawa. We rode 14 kilometers, crossing three bridges, rode over a waterfall and enjoyed many great views of the city. The bikes were top notch, and we enjoyed exceptional customer service.

Excellent tour! I highly recommend booking this. I did this in July 2020 - very safe on the road and very safe for Covid. Saw parts of Ottawa we would have never known about or seen without doing this tour. Very easy bike routes to travel on. My children very much enjoyed it - even my 13yr old! Husband loved it to. We will do it again! Special thanks to our tour guide Sparky - she was encouraging, informed and kept us engaged. Very much enjoyed meeting her!

Nice bikes but terrible staff/customer service. Except for the French speaking clerk, the guys working at the repair side of the shop were helpless and were twice suuuuuuper rude to us, especially the short guy. It was our second time there but we won’t come back again for sure. I won’t recommend this place for rentals because of this bad experience. There are plenty of other shops nearby with better customer service. Another down side was that the payment was only by cash or e-transfer.

The staff at Escape Tours are friendly and helpful, the bikes are superior quality making the ride comfortable. The guided Bike and Bites Tour which winds through some really cool downtown paths was so much fun, the food & gelato was amazing, and we met some really interesting Ottawa business owners.
