I got my front tire replaced over the weekend and the service staff was very helpful and not pushy at all about what kind of tire I should get, even going through the trouble of showing me different tires. They kindly filled my back tire as well, but coincidentally that back tire went flat the next day and when I took it back, they replaced its inner tube and didn’t charge for labour again. I found them to be pretty efficient and would go back for help. I’ve been in their retail store as well and have found them to be welcoming and provide good service for when I was trying to look for bike parts.

I was ordering from Toronto since most of the models and makes of the folding bikes I wanted was out of stock here, and was able to find the Dahon SUV D6 in JV Bike on sale. I was extremely pleased with the purchase: the price was great, there was no delivery fee, and I got my package a day ahead of the expected delivery date. An area of opportunity is their turn-around time in responding to email, but other than that I'm really pleased with the product and the pricing.
A service, options and support at this wonderful, local bike shop. My brother and I were bike shopping over the holidays (December 2020), and every other shop we went to had slim pickings. Not JV's! Lots of beautiful options (both new and gently used) that are affordable compared to other Vancouver spots. The sales representative, Marcus, was awesome: super helpful and friendly. I selected a gorgeous cream cruiser and accessories (picture included for reference from Google but same model). I've ridden it a decent amount for two months and it's been smooth sailing. Oh- and purchasing this bike new means lifetime of free servicing! Bike assembly (by Tim, I believe) was completed quite quickly. And the owner, Janek (apologies if I misspelled!) was knowledgable, and very helpful when I came to exchange bike gloves for a gift card. Overall: awesome shop, beautiful bikes, great experience with the JV team. I've recommended this spot to several friends, and will return for services and accessories. Thanks guys. :)
I have always experienced a helpful, knowledgeable staff at jvbike and I have purchased both regular bikes and electric retrofits here. Most recently, Lars was very helpful in expediting a special purchase item (bike lock) for me. I heartily recommend JVBike!!
