Excellent bikes in great condition at a fair price - helmet included! But his service went above and beyond the call of duty for me yesterday. I was running late returning from the lighthouse and trying to get back to the ship before it left at 4pm (you're technically supposed to be there a half hour before they leave). I was already exhausted and dehydrated so I couldn't peddle as fast as at the start. So I'm racing back as fast as I could and it looked like I would miss the boat by a few minutes and have to stay the night on the island (and rent a cottage) But the owner must have anticipated my situation. He met me on the road as I reached his place and told me to keep pedaling to the dock so I could buy my ticket. He said he would pick up the bike later. Well thank God he did that or I'd have missed the boat for sure. I got my ticket and ran to the boat. I got on just in time seconds before 4:00pm. They radioed in right after to start lowering the front of the ship and departed soon after. I was by far the last person onboard. So what a nice thing for him to do. He made no money doing that but he saved me probably over 100 to rent a cottage or stay at a B&B. So rent your bikes here!

The only thing marring a perfect five-star rating was an outburst by the owner towards my partner for not wearing a mask while outdoors. This upset us and had the potential for ruining our impression of Pelee Islanders forever. While we were getting ready for our ride the owner came to apologize and brightened our day. Thanks dear sir for the apology. We certainly have nothing but compliments for the service, the polite granddaughter who helped us, and the good bikes with baskets. Here's a tip folks: this place has the cheapest (1.00) and widest assortment of postcards on the island. Great selection of bike gear and Pelee souvenirs. Yes, we WILL be back because we loved Pelee Island and Comfortech. Thanks for the comfortable bikes!
Awesome service, affordable price, and great bikes! We used the bikes for 7 hours on Saturday & it was amazing to have them dropped off and picked up from our inn without any worries. Thank you Comfortech!
Brutal says they are open until 7 however they basically closed the doors in our face at 4 and dipped. Pretty much ruined our whole trip out here to Pelee Island.
Loved loved my bike Rick picked out for me. He could tell my boyfriend and I were not the most experienced bikers lol. He fixed the settings and heights. Even drove us to the location where we were staying with the bikes in the back and made sure we had everything we needed and he was only a phone call away. You really need to experience the island on a bike. Tell Rick hi :)
