I’ve only had Ethiopian food a handful of times, but I really enjoy it. My go-to restaurant closed over the last year so I’ve been searching for a new one. This one definitely exceeded expectations. The vegetarian combo with injera was full of flavour, reasonably priced and generously portioned. The beet salad was also delicious. I will be adding Hareg Cafe to my list of regular takeout spots! Thanks for the great food!

Such delicious food and very authentic. They sell ethiopian coffee as well. It was my first time going there and it was so good. The staff is very kind and the waiter was an adorable 13 year old helping his parents. It seems to be a family owned restaurant. The price is very good for the amount you get. It was so good I ate the plate as well. The inside is very decorative and makes you feel like you're in etheopia. I would recommend anyone to go here and try this place out for a different experience.

Ordered vegetarian combo with added side of rice and it was amazing. More than enough to feed two with big appetites for less then 20. Each dish tasted different but delicious and the flatbread was amazing. We waited a long time to try you out but you've won new regulars for sure!

A variety of dishes are available when you choose the option for all you can eat. A small but we'll equipped buffet will satisfy your craving for Ethiopian food. Injeera is a staple and gluten free, the other dishes are also available as vegan options. Another item you can get to enjoy here is the coffee roasting ceremony. Coffee from the birthplace of coffee couldn't get any more authentic than actually drinking this is Ethiopia. This is definitely a must try for any foodie! The owner was very down to earth, shared a lot about himself, got to know me and explained the coffee roasting process and how it has a special place in Ethiopia's culture. Street parking allows you access to this restaurant and eliminates any guess work.

We got it delivered. It was fantastic. The injera was supple and just a bit sour. The doro wat was rich and hearty, with a nice heat. The vegetarian mixed plate fantastic. I liked the cabbage, my wife liked the yellow split peas best.

Great service, flavourful food I always leave this place feeling happy and full. The family and staff seem pretty happy to greet you. There have been times when had to wait a couple of minutes for them to open. They were probably short-staffed or something, but that's the only challenge I've experienced at this place. Other than that, I recommend this place to people who like African food, or even southeast Asian foods. Eat with your hands and invite your friends! This food is meant to be shared.

To start i am not vegan, This place is honestly one of the best food I have ever eaten. I dont drink coffee but i saw them roast coffee beans in the front with a pan along with other fancy coffee making. Its a beautiful place also. Its a family owned business and the kid there was trying really hard to work, I see him becoming a great worker in the future.
