Wow! First time ordering Ethiopian food! As shown in the video, the beef stir fry was wrapped in a unique flat bread. I’m not sure if its name, but it kept the food warm and also seemed to provide a certain flavour to the beef and veggies. I ordered this meal through SkipTheDishes. Overall, it seems like a restaurant I’ll most definitely be ordering from going forward.

Always delicious, always super fresh, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. The best Ethiopian restaurant in Winnipeg !

I ordered from them via skip the dishes. They do not give you any injera to eat your sauces and meats and veggies with. They also didn’t give me any condiments which is common with injera. I was so surprised, I thought the driver messed up. Initially, I called the restaurant and the guy was nice but gave me no real solutions other than “next time” and “I’ll pass on to the manager”. I was left making rice to eat my sauce with. Pros: the food tasted good and the portions of everything else was decent. But very little injera. If you are ordering during the lockdown or using a delivery service, would not recommend this restaurant for Ethiopian or Eritrean food unless you have no other choices. I was quite disappointed!

I've grown to love this place, coming back multiple times and bringing many of my friends. The veggie samosas are one of the best items in the city, flavorful and spicy, with a fresh sauce that is unlike anything I've tried before, with the quick kick of horseradish and the freshness of green herbs. The vegetarian combo is inexpensive but filling, and is a wonderful social experience with tons of different flavours. You can feed 2 people for under 25 which is very rare for a restaurant. Service can be a little bit slow, so plan for a little bit of a longer dining experience. However, it's worth it! The location is cozy, the employees are friendly, and the food is great.
