Such a lovely experience with the staff here! Seriously my start to finish experience was great. They took their time with an eye exam and were patient explaining anything I needed. I picked up my new lenses today [which are amazing quality!] and they were all very lovely, welcoming and helpful. Thank you️

I brought my 6 year old in for an annual eye exam today. We were greated at the door. We were asked to change masks to their masks which we did. And the typical covid questions were asked. The lady then asked if my son was comfortable going in by himself. He has been diagnosed with anxiety so I told her no. Anyways I went in, exam was great. Friendly doctors, everything sanitized and we were happy with how we were treated. The only thing that made me upset was that 1) she asked me if my SIX year old would go in himself 2) why they would even want the liability bringing in a child on his own. Anyways I wanted to contact them directly via email but there was no way to. I wanted them to know my concerns from my experience today.

Yesterday and today I had such a great experience with FYI Doctors, New Westminster. Yesterday I went in for my eye exam and Dr. Durst gave me a lot of great advice and was very attentive. We determined that I needed to transition to progressive lenses. However, as an RN working in ICU I felt this transition would be difficult. I am already challenged with fogging and having to take my safety glasses and eyeglasses on and off frequently. Not my favourite during these times. Bettina (sorry if I spelled this wrong) was so patient and worked through different potential options to help me make this transition more smoothly. She and the FYI team took a lot of stress off me in helping me with a plan. I truly appreciate the care the team has taken with my situation and taking time to understand my profession. Today was the best experience because they helped me get safety goggles too!!:) To the entire FYI team (including the manager who I did not get to speak with), thank you so very much for all you did to help me and many others. I’m so grateful. Also, you are doing such a good job staying clean, organized, kind and patient. Each of you is going above and beyond.

Dr. Terynn Chan helped me at FYidoctors New West and working with her, I had the best eye exam experience I have ever had before in 20 years of wearing glasses. She was so thorough with her examination, and so knowledgeable when I had questions. She was not rushed with her time. I already look forward to my next eye exam in 2 years. Highly recommend you see her.

I would have given this place a 5 stars if it was not for one of the employees called Har, who was bossing everybody around including clients. I was greeted by the manager \Miguel\ he was awesome! Very respectful and professional. Then I met Dr. Chan, very nice young lady. She was attentive to my medical issue and show professionalism and kindness. Until I met Har I was enjoying my experience at this clinic. Har was one of the staff who acted as superior to everybody. She was abrupt and giving ordres to the cleaning young girl as much as to clients. I stood up to read a panel displayed about the clinic services and here she appeared out of no ware to reprimand me for moving from my chair. She came very strong, made me feel like a child. I understand Covid and the implications, but there is still a better ways to talk nicely to people. When I went to pay, I ask a simple question to the lady behind the desk, as she opened her mouth to answer, Har jumped again and answered abruptly the question. She did not let her co-worker speak. I felt she was intimidating not only the clients but her co-workers as well. I hope she gets a good coaching about respect and professionalism.
