In an unfortunate incident where my car broke down and had to be left overnight in the far end of your parking lot, I left a message apologizing profusely for the inconvenience, and explained the situation. I promised it would be picked up the following day. When I phoned the following day to follow up however—expressing gratitude for the shop's patience and apologizing for being later than expected— a bitter, and beyond condescending young lady tried to diagnose my car troubles over the phone. She then proceeded to tell me in a passive aggressive tone, that she knew what it was and could probably fix it, without any clue of what had happened. I was then told to get there before she had it towed. I have never been treated so poorly, nor have I ever experienced such a sad and bitter soul in my life. For the record, I did get there that afternoon, and I had some beer for you. God bless you dear. I will never shop here again.

I went there a couple of weeks ago with friends from out of town. The lady was so sweet and helpful with us and the bikes were so comfy and easy stay on for that long gorgeous ride of the Okanagan Rail Trail. This is an ideal Kind of store and service in a perfect place for any tourist or any local at anytime to hop on the trail ! Stunning ride !
Came here couple months ago during a trip to Vernon. Rented an electric and regular bike. Service was great, they lowered the seat to a comfortable height and ever attached a basket perfect for carrying purse glasses water etc. the trail close by is also a must try! We’re actually up in Vernon again now and planning on doing another bike ride. Pricing for the electric is a bit expensive not sure if it’s comparable or competitive pricing with other shops but man on man does it make riding a bike feel like a breeze even uphill ! Can’t imagine ever going back to a regular bike.
Staff was very friendly and the prices are fair. They had stand up paddle boards and the respective paddles that suited my 7 year old as well as ones where I could paddle with my 4 year old. Everyone had a great time and the rental process was so easy. They are literally right by the beach so you don’t even have to carry it to the beach. After a long hard day at the beach (such a first world problem!) they have a great shop next door that sells ice cream. The flavours are not extraordinary but trust me you won’t care by this time of the day! Finally, Kal beach is the ideal place to learn how to paddle board as the beach extends a far ways out while still being very shallow. Halfway to the end of the dock the water only went up to my waist so if you fall off TD very easy to hop back on.
