Spectacular hospitality and food, with afternoon tea. We hiked in and flew out by helicopter. There's indoor facility for #1 and for #2 there's outhouses. Shower is hot; however, sauna is closed due to covid.

We didn't stay at the lodge but had a great experience with how helpful and friendly the staff is. We stayed in the campground and got a tone of snow we weren't expecting. Claude kindly added in an extra helicopter flight to safely get us home the next day. The lodge also has a tea time from 4-5 that the campers can come enjoy in the dining room, it was such a nice treat to warm up by the fire! We purchased some delicious cake, tea and beer!

Most beautiful place on earth! The staff are also the most helpful, knowledgeable and kind people at any lodge I have ever been to. Definitely would recommend.

Beautiful scenery. For some reason, any time I would ask any of the female staff a question, they acted as if it was extremely bothersome.

A wonderful rustic lodge in a sublime location. The lodge was built in 1928 (back when if you wanted to ski down a hill you had to climb it first). It has withstood the test of time and is currently operated by a great bunch of dedicated people. The cabins are relatively primitive, and there are only two power outlets in the lodge, and no internet, but OMG the mountain, the lakes, the food. If you're a photographer this is a must-see. You have to hike in, or you can fly in on a helicopter from Canmore. No roads. If you're a hiker then do the hike. If you're a tourist fly in, the views from the chopper are awesome.
