I quit CPA and started investing my time, money and energy in the stock market using Interactive Brokers margin account. I turned 50,000 into 100,000 profit and over 200% TWR. Don't waste your time pursuing CPA. It's slavery. Work at your job now, save and invest. Don't be brainwashed by every one that the only way to succeed in life is to pursue a CPA. It's all lies.

George Floyd incident makes me write this. If your life or your career life is murdered by over force, we should break silence. Here is my dark experience with CPA Ontario. There are three exams in the final exams. I passed Day 2 and 3 for the first time. Day 1 Exam failed me three times. The second time of Day 1 has very little content and difficult to find points to write. I asked CPA coordinator on how to improve and what was my weakness. Their coordinator told me that marking ' it's subjective'. Their result of marking is just one word 'failed', not breakdown and reasons; same as feedback from review of marking. No transparency. Why? Here is my message to future CPA students: if you are taking CPA way, spending countless overnights to finish assignments or preparation for exams and the second day going to work with your saving to pay CPA tuition fees, you may face risks of losing your time and efforts; get nothing, not even a reason!

The guidance provided for everything is confusing and it takes them months to process very general inquires. I don't know how can they call themselves professionals.

I decided to quit as a CPA student in January. However they still ask me to pay the entire year student fee which covers the period from January to December. I never see this greediness in any other industry. Doesn't it make sense to prorate the fee for January only?
