Myself and my family recently adopted a puppy from Humane Society. Kayla was very good and allowed me the time to meet several pups from the litter and make a decision that we wanted, she was also great reviewing the programs / benefits that came along with adoption. The staff in the store were very helpful and made sure I had what I needed for our new puppy. They made sure to follow up not only to see if we were satisfied but make sure our new puppy is enjoying life. 5/5 a very positive experience.

They are so helpful integrating the new kittens with my senior cat. Lots of support and perks come with the adoption as well. Great first meet room with climbing area and a great store with toys, food and amazing scratching posts discounts for members. Now if I could just tell them apart.
We completed the Virtual Smarty Pups class last week. I would recommend this class for anyone with a new puppy looking to get the basics down! I was a little skeptical of it being virtual but it was great. Our instructor, Sasha, was always watching and offering tips. She had great videos to follow after she explained what we were working on next. Her explanations were always easy to follow and she moved at a nice pace for us and for our puppy. I’m glad the CHS offered this class; it’s been tremendously helpful in training our puppy.
So wonderful when I took my dog to be cremated! Right now March 2021 you cannot just go there must have an appointment for anything because of Covid19. Lots of construction so entering the building is tricky ask the which entrance before you try to get in
Calgary Humane Society does such wonderful work, and are always a pleasure to deal with. We have adopted 2 cats from them and they are always a delight (and the cats are too!). Their work must be so difficult, but they do it so well.
