An amazing gem unparalleled in Canada. A true Ontario adventure. From the charming accommodations to the delicious food, nothing is overlooked. Being 6k off the main road really shows you how quiet it can be when you get off the grid. It Doesn’t get more relaxing. The hiking and canoeing routes are first class. The covid protocols implemented are easy to follow and really keep you at ease. The staff are excellent and treat every single guest as if they were family. I look forward to visiting again this year. A special place in the heart of some of the most beautiful scenery in North America.

Nice resort located in the heart of Algonquin park. Quiet and private experience. No wifi nor phone signal environment brings a peace of mind and a slow-down living experience. The food there is fantastic. Breakfast and supper consist of self-serving starter, dessert, and salad tables plus choices of main. Lunch is buffet. There are quite a few activities including kayaking, paddling, canoeing and swimming. It is absolutely amazing to look at a sky-full of stars at night.

I have had the great privilege of visiting the Pines for years with my family, and it never disappoints. On a recent visit after its reopening, we were impressed and calmed by the precautions put into place as well as the maintenance of so much of what makes Arowhon unique. (We, for example, surprisingly didn't miss the wonderful buffets as they were recreated in creative ways.) If you have the chance to go to Arowhon Pines, take it. You will not regret the restorative, grounding experience.

They cater to all your needs. Beautiful tranquil setting. Escape technology. Savour the food. Most wonderful staff and management. Repose lakeside or go for the most tranquil canoe, kayak, sailboard or stand up paddle board jaunt.

It’s great! They cleared a site just for us on Canada Day weekend and constantly made sure we were taken care of. Ben especially helped us out, thanks again!

We spent two nights in a well appointed room in a shared space. (In which we never felt uncomfortable as every care was taken to ensure distancing, safety, and cleanliness) The staff were amazing, the food second to none, and I swear they have their very own moose, which I'd suggest naming Hans, we saw it three times in four canoe trips. They also appear to breed warring hummingbirds and snowshoe hares. We saw more on Little Lake Joe than in the 86km of paddling we did that weekend (including baby beavers!). From the minute of our arrival we somehow felt like our being there was our summer tradition. I hope it will be. Writing reviews shouldn't bring tears to my eyes like this! Thank you!

Great cabins, set far enough apart that there is some privacy. Wonderful food, to the point that it's constantly a question whether or not to have an extra portion for the family to split so that you can try everything. Setting is perfect - a nesting pair of loons on the lake, and only a short portage away to the backcountry parts of the park. Staff is amazing, helpful to any reasonable request. And equient available for use is great quality and in numbers so that it's never difficult to find a canoe, paddle, sailboat, or paddle board.
