I met Jessie from the Carriage House studio at a community event. I had just inherited my grandparents furniture, but it really wasn't my style. I got chatting with Jessie and she told me how she refinishes furniture and she showed me the Fusion paint line she uses. I looked at her website to get ideas for what I wanted and when I had a vision, Jessie made it come to life! I am beyond happy with how this sentimental furniture was given new life for me to enjoy for years to come. Jessie was amazing to work with. She responds promptly to emails, sent me progress pictures along the way and was very reasonably priced for all the hard work that went into it. She went above and beyond by leaving me with care instructions, touch up paint in case I ever need it, and a beautiful handmade wreath to hang from my hutch. Further I bought some Fusion paint from her home studio to do a small project of my own and Jessie took the time to explain exactly what I need to do to get the best results. Thanks again Jessie, I will cherish my furniture even more because of you!

During a community event I had the pleasure of meeting Jessie, proprietor of The Carriage House Studio. I was introduced to the wonderful world of Fusion paint and all of the amazing transformations you can create using it. Having a background in painting, it was refreshing to find a product with zero voc, fantastic coverage and also be very durable. Fusion paint line is just one oft the offerings from Carriage House. Jessie hosts these incredible workshops where she teaches you how to up-cycle your older pieces and transform them into gorgeous new pieces through the magic of paint. There are also holiday workshops where children and adults can create paint-filled tree ornaments, beautiful wreaths and signs. Carriage House hosts these incredible workshops all-year long. I recommend visiting the website to view the calendar of events. I created artisan gift soap last November, in time for Christmas gifts. As I write this, I am currently painting my IKEA hacked storage cabinets in Sterling and Casement for my revamped mud room. Thank you Carriage House Studio for your on-line tutorials and personal instruction, it really is helping this furniture painting newbie. I think next time I will drop them off to you as there will be less paint on me...ha!
