Great store, located conveniently next to the Village Mall. It's sad to hear they are closing.

If you are disabled, come well prepared! The electric carts seem to be missing out on the love. Not plugged in when not in use. Not being cleaned. Misplaced and no one offers to help you to your vehicle, even if it's apparent you're having difficulty and on your own. The store is loud. Tight quarters, pandemic factors, loud beepers. People in this store seem to have the look of a deer caught in the headlights. Triggers abound if you have Sensory issues! The cashiers seem to be fond of the throw and go method, as in improperly packed bags, etc... * it should be noted that this store has a severe deficiency in staff numbers. If you need help at the cash you will be unlikely to find it. Friendliness seems to have also gone out the window here, I suspect staff stress factors. The store is clean and well kept in general if rather tight on space. Signage is hit or miss. Mostly miss. Either badly placed or you can't see it because things are in the way. When you do see it, at least it's well-written. The quality and variety of the products is decent considering that it's the only Walmart in the Avalon region that is not a Superstore and was never meant to be. All the basic staples seem to be covered adequately. Overall, not my first choice in places to go for staples but you will most likely get what you need in a pinch.

Topsail Rd PhotoCenter Worst experience I've ever had. I ordered 4X6, 5X7, 8X10 photos and a magnet. When I asked the lady if the magnet was inside and said I dont know I guess so you can look and check. Which is what I did. No magnet. The same lady took the photo and went looking for a magnet and said "sorry we don't have any if you want I can take your name and number and call you when its ready" like a normal person I asked how long that would be she squinted her eyes at me and said "I don't know" I told her to forget it ill take a refund/ credit for that. She said you did it online you have to get a refund online. I asked why I wasn't told there weren't any magnets left and that my picture was just thrown in as a picture and she replied with "you did it online didn't you? You have to call them" I asked for the number she told me to look at my email ill find the number there. I found the number and called the lady on the phone was wonderful and refunded me the picture. I asked this employee what her name was she asked why and I again asked for her name she then had this foul look on her face and I told her to complain. "Over a God damn magnet your not getting my name" I asked another employee she said to them "don't give her my name" I then asked to speak to a manager and no one knew how to do that so I approached customer service and made a written complaint against Brenda in the Photoshoot. I had an incredibly bad day myself but I didn't look at my clients and say "its just god damn homecare" this lady needs to be repremended for her behavior. I love using Walmart for my photos and photocreations but I feel I need to call down and ask if Brenda is working before I go now..... or open the photoshop in another store where she isn't.

Please don’t close this store. Hundreds if not thousands use this as there main hub of commerce...

Lady at the customer service (returns counter) was obviously having a bad day. We were made to feel like we were interrupting her. I always thought that customer service counters were from customer service. Service is not like this at the other Walmarts. Disappointing.

Lady at customer service(she's a typical Karen) was very rude the morning of September 9th. I called to asked a question a different associate told me I was allowed to do. And she went off assuming I worked for some company when all I wanted was to know if the cards were restocked. Don't have one employee tell you one thing then have this Karen go off over the phone. I think I'll be making a visit to the manager today.

This walmart gets the overstock from other stores in the area. Aside from the lack of selection compared to other Walmart it's a great little store, not very large, perfect for the area it's in.
