Great first week in Canada . I came to Vernon hostel the first day I arrived in Canada and I can say it couldn’t of been a better stay. It is located in the center of downtown, close to everything I needed to settle into the country. Close to shops, banks, shopping and bus stop. The host Balbir is very welcoming, friendly and a great help. He keeps the hostel well maintained and clean. Thanks for the stay. Thumbs up.

We stayed here only for one night, but it was a very good stay. The hostel is newly refurbished, the kitchen, bathrooms and our room all looked fresh. The hostel is clean and tidy. The WiFi is reliable. The owner was very accommodating to us, as we had to move the date of our stay at the last minute. We would highly recommend this hostel. The hostel is in a convenient location, as there's a big grocery store just two minutes walk away and many restaurants nearby. We'd happily stay here again.
Booked for the same night and then an hour and half later canceled the booking. Was charged the full fee on the credit card anyways (despite the email I received saying I had successfully cancelled the booking). When I called, the customer service rep was very rude on the phone, refused even a partial refund, and hung up on me! Very, very poor customer service and no room to compromise or reason with them.
Stayed there for 2 days. Clean place with a friendly staff. Right in downtown which was great for groceries but slightly noise at night (snow removal). The location is surprising but would stay again.
Fresh fascilities and good standard on rooms, nice service and well equiped kitchen and common living room.
It is a very clean Hostel, however the rooms are positioned immediately next to the kitchen and common areas. Results in a lot of noise, even when people are trying to go about their business quietly.
The owner works very hard to keep the business running smoothly. This hostel is clean and friendly for everyone who will comply to the rules and conditions.
Great place. Quiet, clean. Love the owner!
