Tojo's Omakase is an experience to behold. If you're willing to splurge a bit and treat yourself for a night, this is definitely the way to go—you will NOT be disappointed. Balanced & delicate flavours, stellar presentation, high quality, fresh ingredients, and amazing attention to detail and customer care. Each dish is carefully crafted and thoughtfully chosen to complement the other flavours on the dish, as well as the flavours of the dish that came before it and those that are to follow. I'm so impressed with the experience and would love to come back—maybe once the pocket's a bit fuller again!

Best Japanese in Vancouver by far in our (my spouse & I) opinions. We tried the chef's tasting menu along with several items from the regular menu recommended by our server. Everything tasted fresh with high quality ingredients. The décor is a bit dated, however the food is so good it didn't matter. We can't wait to go back.

200 per person dollar omokase meal. Decent service though rushed at times, so be other dinners could be heard complaining about slow service. You pay a premium price for okay sushi but it is not a cut above. Tojo was there but did not acknowledge us even though we were \in the chefs hand\. Not great value for the price, you can find better Japanese restaurants with superior service and value in Vancouver.

The service we had was spectacular and lovely. The food was amazing - each piece of sushi or sashimi was better than any I'd ever had. Each of the rolls was better than any I'd had in another sushi restaurant. I can't say enough good things about Tojo's, other than I wish that I could afford to eat here more often...

Overall experience was okay. Location wise it’s in a very hidden spot. Difficult to find parking. The inside ambience is very soothing. I got the five course chefs special and I was very disappointed I did not get any sushi rolls only actual entrees. Either way the staff was very friendly. Let me talk to and meet Mr. Tojo who invented the California roll. I ordered the California roll and it was pretty damn good. Need to go back and order more rolls so I can have a better review. Will be visiting again.
