RMTI's certified resident manager's course is great! I just landed a Resident Manager job with a top residential management company in town. Six weeks after completion of y course. It's God's favour and certainly my training and certification from RMTI gave me an edge over other job applicants. I have been telling my other friends to check out the course. The registrar and staff are very friendly, helpful and really motivating.

My wife and I, two well groomed mature and well spoken professionals with good backgrounds in customer services, took this course after moving to BC in the late 1990's and after spending about 800 each and passing the course with flying colours, and then going to about 20 interviews, we never received 1 job offer and were told time and time again that because we had o experience\ we did not get the job. At no time were any of the interviewers impressed with the fact that we were \Certified Building Managers\, and in fact several seemed to find humour in that. Now all we have to show for our expenses is a big 2 inch binder of papers. If your dream is to get into managing rental units, you may be very disappointed and out of a lot of cash in the end.
I am thrilled with the RMTI course I took almost 17 years ago and the 3 jobs I got as a result of it. I had not worked in the industry before so the course was an excellent introduction to the industry, I felt very comfortable in my first job and it lasted 8 years until the company gave me a bigger building. I have been there for 9 years but the cold back East was getting to me so I decided to move to BC and am pleased to say I have been working in a nice building here for the last 6 months. Thank you for the assistance in finding me a manager. He is working out very well and we may need another one for a larger building down the road so I will give you a shout.
Want to say comments for the rmti here. Very good for me to finish the rmti and get the job of manager for condominium building very quick. All the lessons are good and easy to do and understand. My friend he took the rmti and got a job and told me it would be good for me. Thank you to the people there that help with questions. Very good for me to recommend this.
