Steve is the guy for bike repairs and tune-ups. He even helped me replace the rear wheel of my electric scooter. He runs a tight shop, no BS. More than reasonable prices as well. Highly recommended!

My recent experience : the positive reviews are true, he's a very kind and authentic guy who gives down to earth advice and does honest work. His shop is focused on repairs, not a ton of merchandise here. I would trust him with my bike no problem.
Brought my bike in because the chain came off and the bike needed a tune up. The owner, Steve, is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He fit in my bike tune up within a week during the busy summer season at a reasonable price. When I came back to pick it up, he suggested a test ride, took the time to answer all my questions, and even tightened the handle and front light. This is the best bike repair shop in Vancouver. They are in the business of fixing bikes and not about selling merchandise.
I cannot recommend this place enough, if you're able to wait for service! Make sure to call ahead to check availability. I called on a Thursday and was told Steve wasn't taking anything new until the following Wednesday, but I figured most bike shops would have similar wait times right now. When I showed up Steve said he was actually still full (i.e. 4-5 day wait time for service and literally nowhere to put my bike) but he would take a quick look anyways, and he ended up giving my bike a quick tune up for an exceedingly reasonable price. He also seemed like a genuinely pleasant person and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation. Thank you, Steve!
Had a wonderful experience at Atomic Bike Shop this afternoon. Went in to get my tires pumped. I mentioned how awkward I find my handle bars and Steve was kind enough to take a look. In addition to my tire pump he ended up sawing some length off the handle bars. I really appreciated him taking the extra time from his busy day to go above and beyond. My bike feels great to ride now. Amazing service and pricing. I will definitely be back. Super happy to have found this shop.
