This company has harrassed me for months. I have told them I don't want their product or them to phone me again and still months later I'm being harressed by this scam of a company. Do not give them your money and maybe if they go out of business they won't call me again

The sales people are extremely aggressive. I sent in an online inquiry and spoke to someone, clearly said I would get back to them when I was ready and multiple sales people called multiple times daily afterwards. I have no idea what their products are like but would not even consider them after the poor, aggressive customer service.

They accomplished one thing and that is I will never purchase an Acorn product in my life. I will attach ropes to the banister before I purchase their product. Knock it OFF ACORN HIGH PRESSURE. Once or twice a day phone calls is not the way to gain customers. Expecially when an email was sent to cease and desist because I was going into the hospital for major surgery. But here comes Gwen's daily annoyance....via phone.

UPDATE **** Finally received some satisfaction and satisfactory customer service. The Technician arrived really late, but came to fix the problems I had with my chairlift. He went right to work and was helpful. He bent over backward to try to please me and alleviate all the problems I had been experiencing with my chairlift. Replaced the entire chair with a new one. Reinforced the rail to. Reattached the electrical cord at bottom of the stairs so nobody stepped on it or tripped. Overall was very pleased considering it took them almost a year to finally do something. Now will hope and pray that all my problems have disappeared. Only time will tell. We purchased a spanking, brand new Acorn chairlift. It was for my 89 year old mother in law who we needed to move into our home. It was necessary to order a chairlift because she could not climb all the stairs to the second floor. That was where her bedroom was. We made the importance of this very clear when arranging the installation appointment. Well low and behold on the day of the installation we received a call stating the installer couldn't make it, and the next available appointment would be in approximately one week. What was my mother in law to do for a week? After having a major hissy fit Acorn was able to arrange for an installer to come the next day. Well we purchased this shiny new chairlift at the beginning of last march and have been plagued with problems ever since. After paying thousands of dollars you would think it would work. No, instead we constantly have to call for a repair person. If you are thinking of buying a chairlift, when it comes to Acorn chairlifts, buyers beware. Run!!

We purchased an ACORN stairlift in the fall of 2019 for my mother in law. After purchasing the curved unit for 12,500, we felt we had a good deal as the unit was about 1,000 less then the compeition and we thought we had purchsaed from a reputable company. The issues started with the unit a week after, the unit stopped working on the rail. They took over 2 weeks to come to our house to repair (said not techs available) - this was very disappointing. unit broke down again in January, this time took 3 weeks to get the parts in. From here, the unit has broken down two more times. We finally decided to remove product and get a different brand - do your research, i will never use this company again.
