What an amazing wee shop!!! My mother is from Scotland andI grew up.on so many of the food and sweets they sell here. My friend took me here today for my first time to grab some treats and sweats from across the pond to cheer me up on a rough day and I have to say the whole experience made my day better. The selection is overwhelming in the best way and the food smells and looks delicious(highly looking forward to my sausage rolls). The staff were exceptional and extremely friendly and welcoming. Very much created an atmosphere reminiscent of the old general stores where you felt a sense of neighborhood and comradery. Definitely improved my day just with their positive, welcoming and friendly attitudes. Keep up the great job, those smiles brighten lives. :) Highly recommend coming here for any of your chocolate, candy or dinner needs (or wants lol). Worth the drive if you're from out of town. Will 100% be returning. Thank you for the exceptional service.

Apparently this is the place to be for British food. The place is filled with little treats that you don't usually find at their local grocery stores. The pasties are not too bad. It was tasty, but I would have preferred it to a bit more hot. It's a small little place, the staff is friendly and the really feels like a family owned restaurant.

The place is cozy and the owner are a kind and nice british couple! It was an awesome experience in the middle of the road to Chester! I definitely recomend here to all tourists passing by . We have tried onion pasties and it was great in taste and it was fresh! They have served Tea in a really cute pots. You can find our delicious breakfast in the photos I have uploaded.

A taste as genuine as the atmosphere. I had the full Monty and did a good job at it. A full sausage, perfect bacon, eggs, toast, beans, fried tomatoes and a side of marmalade. A breakfast like this on an empty stomach with a strong coffee can not be beat. You can find this at delish fine foods. I didn't even check out the candy section, let alone the sweet rolls, baked goods and pasties. I will definitely be back.
