Terrible business practices. If you advertise your hours and post your hours on your door but don't want to be open at that time, be sure to at least have the courtesy to post something on the door letting people know the reason and if you plan to be open that day. When people travel from one of the near by Provincial Parks to get Cross Country Skis, it becomes a waste of gasoline and time when they are closed. Will never rent from them in the future and will be sure to let all my friends and family know the same as we plan to go to the parks for skiing again in the future. Very sad business practices. My wife was very excited to try cross country skiing after the Park Officers told us where we could rent them.

My bike needed repairs while doing my across the province bike ride. Owners Chris and Clive Emery were fantastic with their repairs. Very reasonable and lots of useful information at no cost. Had a terrific experience with Trips and Trails this past weekend (canoe rentals and shuttles). The owner (Clive) is friendly, accomodating and extremely knowledgeable about the area - totally standup guy. I'd highly recommend Trips and Trails for your Bancroft area outfitting needs - five stars.
