I decided to write a review because I honestly cannot recommend this online school enough! Everyone is different, of course, but for me, a grade 11 student (I did grade 10 and some of 9 with TVO ), I have had such a fantastic experience. I have been able to excel through my courses and complete my classes at a very fast speed. I have had great experiences with the teachers, who have marked my assignments and tests fairly and in a short time, 1-3 days max. Learning this way has really allowed me to flourish, and I now have the time for extracurriculars and hobbies outside of school. The courses have great assignments that are engaging, fun and keep me happy:) The new updates to the courses are amazing; they look great and function very smoothly. I definitely recommend getting the spark app, as it allows you to receive notifications when your grade is updated. If you are an overachiever or need to work at your own pace and you have good time management, this online school is definitely for you!

Was really cool idea at first. Then I started to notice blatent errors in the courses I was being taught be it mathematical, spelling grammatical or theories that were completely incorrect. Also impossible to get ahold of anyone. I had an error in submitting a project. It said \submit project here worth 12.5% of your grade\ with no assignment, name or description to what the assignment was. I spent two months trying to get ahold of them until it was fixed. They never answered my numerous emails or calls. And the teaching method was poor and spotty missing key information needed for my learning. You cannot learn all the course material using only the website. You absolutely need to use other sources

ILC. The bane of my existence currently. I did a grade 10 math course online due to Covid. (re-taking it) The way they 'teach' is not very effective, and if I hadn't previously learned the material, I would be very lost. Most importantly, there is no way to contact the person who is marking your assignments. They don't give you their name, email, phone number, anything. There have been some guidance counselors at ILC who were good people who cared, and tried. Mostly, their staff seems to not care at all. Don't waste your time or money with their 'courses'.

Disgusting how they advertise “no semesters””work on your own time” and yet they then cancel your course if you haven’t completed it in 10 months without even telling you! Especially when you literally have one lesson left! It’s a Cash grab is all this is if your an adult with a full time job just trying to get your final high school credit Shameful really!
