One counter, one guy operation (at least, one guy when we visited on a Friday evening). He quietly takes your order, makes your (inexpensive, quite nice) sushi, and off you go unless you grab one of three stools. Sometimes that's exactly what you want.

Great sushi and the friendliest staff. I went in there just after getting off the train at Union station,ordered my food and once it was ready realized I didn't have my wallet so I was in a panic. This very nice man behind the counter let me take the food he had made for me and told me I could return the next day to pay for it. Not the kind of thing you expect in the big city and I was pleasantly surprised and very grateful. By the way, my wallet was returned to me the next day.

This spot simply knows how to take care of their clients. Constantly with a super nice mindset. The food is fairly priced, regularly yummy and neat.

Reasonable price. Good sushi. Excellent location. Gets busy during the weekday lunch rush. Disposable containers for dining in seems unnecessarily wasteful. Small containers of extra ginger for 25 cents is just tacky.

Small sushi place with limited seating (4). The store is only ran by a couple who are incredibly nice. My partner and I are regulars here and we love the Spicy salmon roll!! Miso soup is 1.30 and tastes really good. Normally, the sushi is prepared in front of you after you order (and they make it really fast). highly recommend coming here :)
