Awesome experience! Really solid service and super chill, down to earth staff. Honestly, wouldn't have bought boots without this place. Big shout out to Derek! Would recommend to beginner's and pro's. -Theo

One of the original Skate shops in Toronto, I learnt today that So Hip It Hurts is under new ownership. What does that mean? No more shots for your large purchases, though chin up... there is an LCBO across the street. Lots of decks on the wall, once you enter and snowboard hard gear is in the back of the shop. Store lighting isn't very bright but that's always been the atmosphere here, friendly heads up, if you do have mobility issue's there is a 2 stories of steps to go up. Very cool brands here and some double sided Coal brand face masks.
Bought a Land Yachtz Drop Hammer Oak to keep busy during quarantine, was shipped the next day and arrived at my house the day after (I live in the GTA) Product was as described and excellent quality. Will be coming here / ordering here for all future skate equipment. Support your local businesses! Would highly recommend So Hip! Heard incredible things about the staff and can't wait for Covid to calm down so I can come in and learn / chat!
Just got my snowboard waxed & sharpened and they exceeded my expectations. I wish I took a before and after photo because they worked some makeover magic on this one. Definitely will reccomend and be back.
Worst service ever. I waited for 15 minutes at the bottom of the stairs for my turn. Not only did I get skipped by some girl. I also never got any service. I walked up the stairs and waited and waited. No one came. This shop is a joke, never experienced worse service. Zero stars if you want any service here. I'd suggest to go anywhere but here.
