Contrary to some of the more negative reviews recently posted here, I've found the recent renovations due to condo construction a major improvement. The stretching area by the windows is more spacious than before, there are more squat racks, and the showers are tiled rather than wooden which is better for overall hygiene. Overall a highly pleasant and affordable gym experience

Man I cant wait for you guys to reopen so I can shed this Covid belly. I love working out at you place. The quality, the staff, the service...I feel like a pro when I leave here.

The employees are all great and the members treat each other with respect. If you are looking for a very clean and fun place to workout this is the best place midtown has to offer!

James is hands down the most amazing employee pure fitness has. He is extremely friendly, and has the most soothing voice. Just listening to him speak sold me on the membership. After visiting the gym a few times, not only do I feel better physically, but mentally and spiritually I am “lifted” after seeing James.

Since the construction, there’s absolutely no parking and the gym and locker room are smaller. The staff is the worst part. The only lady that’s nice is the one who’s there early in the morning with black hair and a bun. All the others are grumpy and always on their phone. The worst one is the Indian guy. When I went there to sign up, he did not even offer a tour. He seemed annoyed to do his job and now that I see him again, he is as smelly and unpleasant as day 1. The crowd there is nice at least, but avoid staff at any costs!

I joined this gym in January and I am in LOVE with it! The clientele ranges widely in age, which is nice, and it has the feeling of neighborhood gym. Never overcrowded and very clean.Classes are entertaining but challenge you physically. Based on my experience with Toronto gyms , Pure Fitness is one of the better gyms in this city. I've never had any issues with billing or payment. Highly recommend.

Terrible gym, high fees, poor service I joined the gym with relatively high fees, but accepted it due to the convenience of the location. In time I would come to learn that simple things like towels were not only not included but charged at an additional 6 per month. The gym had old equipment and within 2 months the gym literally halved in size as they sold off half the building for condos, and yet my fees only increased. No compensation was given whilst the gym was closed and when it reopened the equipment was somehow worse and everything was crammed into half the space. No apology, no concession as they knew I was caught in a 12 month contract. I cannot speak lowly enough of this poor excuse for a gym. GoodLife is only 5 mins away from here and is cheaper with better classes and equipment and that is where I have now joined.
