My husband and I have been here twice. Both times the service was great. The staff are very attentive and kind. The atmosphere is very relaxed and intimate. The food is very delicious. We got the battered tuna roll, the pineapple tuna roll, the dynamite roll and some sushi a la carte. All were fantastic! Our favourite was the battered tuna roll, which is battered and deep fried. Highly recommend. I like that they have a lot of variety on their menu. Look forward to going back and trying some of the other interesting looking rolls.

It was valentines day. We were stuck in traffic and on our way to move things into our new apartment. We were 30 minutes away from Gobo and figured we would call to place a pickup order. We ordered 3 rolls, and they told me to pick it up in 20 minutes. When we arrived, my girlfriend parked out front and I hopped out. When I walked into the restaurant no one was in there, so I waited a couple of minutes before I said "Hello"? When someone finally emerged from the back of the kitchen he looked at me confused. I told him my name and that I was picking up my order. He picked up an order chit taped to the bar and said "okay it will be 15-20 mins. At this point, we were illegally parked out front, in a rush, and didn't have time to wait. I told him that we were parked illegally and he told me to go pay for parking up the road. This was a super poor experience, very unprofessional, and we will not be returning.
I don't recommend to order there. I ordered and waited for more than one hour and then they cancelled my order and called me saying an excuse that didn't make sense at all.
Fresh, delicious, fairly priced and interesting sushi combos makes Gobo one of the best Toronto sushi restaurants out there! Consistently great, highly recommended.
The wait staff were kind and the food is passable. Not bad quality , considering the low price.
Sushi rice was like rubber and tasted bad. Gyoza was too oily and too much pastry.
I really enjoyed the sushi, affordable too.
Definitely a good deal on some very decent sushi :)
