Came here on a morning when we decided to visit Kensington Market. Since I was looking for a special Colombian or Venezuelan place to go I looked up El Arepazo before we went. I have visited South America (especially Colombia) plenty of times and have always enjoyed Arepas. El Arepazo has the finest that Venezuela has to offer. We had the Arepa de pernil, Arepa de Pabellon, Arepa de Camaron and Arepa de Chocolo or Cachapa as they call it here. They also had authentic Coffee and Postobon Manzana. Everything was more than delicious. The most authentic place to go to if you crave Arepas. Thank you so much for the great meals. We were so stuffed we didn't eat anything else the entire day. Once more if you're in Toronto make sure to visit them and yes you should totally go out of your way to eat here as it is completely worth it!
The food was delicious and worth every penny. If I had read the negative reviews, I would have missed out on a delicious supper. Even the lemonade was delicious! We were in a bit of a rush and were in, seated and out in about 35 minutes. I will definitely be back.
Decent food for decent price. First time having Venezuelan food and it was pretty good.
Not much a fan of Latin food but came here from a suggestion with a friend and it was absolutely delicious. Ordered the Veggie Arepa that comes with Plantains, Black Beans, Fresh sliced avocados, topped with motzarella. Such a good mix of flavours. I was starving and suspicious I would be full after the meal but was very satisfied afterwards. Highly recommend!
Does exactly what it promises with delicious arepas. Arepas have distinct and tasty flavour profiles that are fun to explore as you go through different flavours. Personal favourites include the chorizo, pabellon, and llanera. I miss the cachapa they used to have though.
Stumbled on this little gem in the middle of Kensington market. Small little place tucked away in the heart of it. Came for some arepas, and the arepas were huge. We got the chorizo and pulled pork ones and they were fantastic. Am ample amount of cheese and meat. Just enough food to be full, without being stuffed. Only issue with the place was that the chairs were a bit flimsy and its easy to get your fingers squished there.
Delicious food. Our table was dirty and never cleaned which is why I gave it a 4 star. Also pricey for what it was.
