Great Selection of bicycles and parts at great prices. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. A good place to get your bike serviced. Support a family run business in the heart of Toronto's West end. Thanks Dan for all your help.

As far as I see it, there are only a few shops downtown that are really worth going to. Of those, Brockton is my fav. The staff are friendly and extremely knowledgable yet very down-to-Earth about it. Most shops these days can't even do a decent wheel build, but Brockton can handle seemingly any type of repair at a high standard of quality. Also, this should go without saying, but they aren't rude or condescending to female riders. Unfortunately this can be a real problem with other bike shops, but never Brockton. Some service rates are a little higher than other shops, but you really get what you pay for. Also sometimes it's a bit of a wait because they're often busy, but that's also a good sign that it's a place you can trust with your beloved bicycle. Ride on!
I wish I could give these guys a better rating. They’re located in my neighbourhood which could do with a decent bike/repair shop. I have a 6-year old Danish bicycle which apparently needed its rear drum brake replaced. It sounded like a straight-forward repair job until the Brocton Cyclery folks decided to make some fundamental changes, without my consent. Instead of drum brakes, they installed external brakes that required a series of extra bike modifications. After over 2 weeks, I’ve finally got my bike back. Needless to say, I was shocked to discover two awkwardly mounted external brakes over my bike's back fender. It looked like a plastic surgery gone wrong. After I’ve asked them to do what we’ve agreed on, they claimed the internal hub actually wasn’t available. To my surprise, when I called around to other shops, I learned the hub was in fact easily available. At that point, I've decided to take my bike elsewhere. I asked Brocton Cyclery to remove all the parts they had installed and to fully refund me. Sadly, the additional repair cost of bringing my bike back to its original state has substantially increased— turning the whole situation into a truly regrettable experience. Lesson learned? Make sure to have Brocton Cyclery give you a written work order before handing your bike over to them.
Amazing experience! Hard to get a good bike at a decent price these days, but I called in and spoke to Cameron who was extremely patient and helpful with all the questions I had. He made suggestions based on my needs and helped me find my helmet size while on the phone. I found what I was looking for so I immediately went over. The experience just got better from there. I dealt with Cameron again and he let me take my bike for a test spin. They have an awesome 1 year warranty. Their mechanic got my bike ready in 10-15 minutes. He ran me through some mechanical questions I had and showed me how to remove my front wheel so I could transport it in my truck. Great experience! Highly recommend them. They've even set up a canopy to provide waiting customers a bit of shade.
Brockton is the place to go! I fully trust them to help me get the parts and service I need. Staff are always friendly and the shop has done well to keep up with COVID safety protocol. I feel great about giving Brockton my business!
