I’ve had this YAMAHA piano for 10 years.. I’ve always found the piano on the bright side.. Torn tuned it yesterday voiced it as well.. Also the owner Yonatan suggested acoustic foam between the wall and the back of the piano.. I took his advise and did this right away.. This piano sounds 1000 % better!! There’s no one more qualified to work on a piano than Torn Piano.. See you in a year Torn Piano!!

Yonathan is absolutely wonderful. I am a college music student and ever since the COVID-19 pandemic, I could no longer rely on going to school to practice. I emailed him because my Yamaha upright piano needed to be tuned desperately (after 18 years). He is truly professional and knows what he is doing. He was prompt to respond, and he showed up to my home when he said he would. I was impressed with his ability to look at the piano and know exactly when it was made and also which store I had purchased it from before working on it. He was also able to inform me of its known manufacturing defects that I should keep in mind. He took my piano apart and not only tuned it well, but also cleaned it thoroughly - which I didn't expect but was greatly appreciated. You can tell he's also a musician himself, and he deeply cares about his work and the sound quality of the piano. He's also very friendly and easy to talk to! I highly recommend him. Great tech! I have hired him to work on several pianos at the shop. He change the sound and touch of our Steinway in a way that was unimaginable for me. Yonathan has special tools made for Steinway pianos which made it easier for him to adjust the strings and pins on the bridge. He is detailed oriented, has a great ear and has a lot of patience during the job. I highly recommend him. 10 stars out of 5.
