Thermenergy provided the most competitive pricing for my request for quotation for a “two birds with one stone” job: 1) Fix central A/C (recharge refrigerant), 2) Remove and replace 40 gallon rental hot water heater. Contacted a bunch of companies through Homestars and locally as well. Kal got back to me quickly through Homestars and spoke with him by phone. He was knowledgable and easy to talk to. Kal recommended the Rheem PV40, and advised that we keep the same sizing for practicality and energy savings. He was helpful at explaining the process to return the rental tank, and that his guys would take care of it. Kal actually showed up the next day to fix my A/C and to confirm existing site conditions and pricing for the hot water tank. His pricing was “all-in” with no surprises. For the A/C fix, Kal quickly recognized that the original installers left the refrigerant lines overcharged. Opposite to what we thought was broken by conventional wisdom! Although it was a fast and easy fix, Kal hardly charged any money at all for the repair. For the hot water heater work, two technicians showed up the following week. The two gentlemen were punctual, friendly and answered all my questions in a helpful manner. The workmanship appears to be pretty good. Hardly any mess left behind. Rental unit was returned to Reliance Home Comfort the morning of the following business day. We’re pretty happy with the Rheem PV40, it’s much quieter compared to the previous rental GSW power vent unit. Good riddance to monthly bills. Work was completed in early-July 2020. So far so good.

Very dissapointed in their service. The man that came to fix the water heater tankless was extremely rude to my parents that are elderly, he took three days because he did half the work and left it and asked if we can have our own people fix the plumbing when he is supposed to do it as we are paying for the service. He also asked my father to go buy a pipe, he did not even come with it so unprofessional and my father went out and bought the pipe himself. Then he came after to fix it, but it still doesn't work. We are trying to contact the company to come and remove it and we are switching to another company. When we call the phone goes to the same guy. Not to mention he also started recording my parents on his cell phone which he is not allowed to do. That is a complete invasion of their privacy. I am very upset that he treated my parents this way who are older and the nicest people. We all work in customer service this is not how you treat your customers! Do not go with this service. He put my parents through so much torture. We are supposed to move to our new house this weekend but now we are struggling because we have no hot water and we called him to come remove it so we can fix it with another company and he is not responding. My parents were scared he was speaking rudely with him. So upsetting. We are now struggling and don't know if we will have hot water by the time we move in. Had to give it a one start but this should be Minus 10000003727291 stars. Im usually never the type to write reviews even if it's a bad experience because I just don't care most of the time but this guy really pushed me to the edge by disrespecting my parents like this that I couldn't help but write a review

Great company to work with. Kept me up to date when technicians would arrive and when they did, they were very courteous. Best price, Great service and they cleaned up all of their garbage. Highly recommend.
