The Perch on Birch is an awesome place that surpassed all my expectations. Upon check in to The Roost, I settled into a spotlessly clean suite that is bright, spacious, thoughtfully designed, and very well equipped. I was especially pleased with the comfortable bed and living room furniture. The layout of the property allows for privacy, and the surrounding neighbourhood is peaceful and safe. If I was looking for a tranquil and relaxing setting, it was right out my door, and only steps away into the beautiful yard and garden areas that attracted an impressive array of birds. With its fantastic location, I thoroughly enjoyed being able to walk from the Perch on Birch to restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, the marina and adjacent park with its food trucks, and other nearby trails and ocean walks while taking in the nature and beauty that this part of the Comox Valley has to offer. Quality accommodations, fabulous setting, and terrific location makes the Perch on Birch deserving of 5 stars.

I booked a week’s stay for my close friend and partner back in August 2016....visiting for my daughter’s wedding...always meant to do a review! Such a perfect location, 5 min walk to Comox downtown for shopping and pubs. The cottage unit was perfect; well equipped and comfortable. Lovely quiet sunny yard with private parking. My friend and I still talk about what a nice stay they had there! It was a perfect retreat from the bustle of the wedding! I highly recommend this cottage unit! Lovely that a sister unit is there as well! We actually booked both sides! They gave privacy and a calm place to kick back! MANY THANKS! (And apologies for not doing this 4 years ago!) The Perch is a beautiful place to stay in Comox. The suite had everything we needed and more. It was spotless. Close to downtown and a parking spot in the back. We would absolutely stay here again!
Beautifully kept grounds. Close to all amenities. Clean and restful in a quiet neighborhood.
