After researching multiple learning centres in the Ottawa region, we felt very positive signing up our daughter with Sylvan Learning of Nepean. From day one they were professional, knowledgeable and had our daughters specific needs addressed. Not only did they work extremely well with her, but they were very engaging with our needs as parents providing us with regular updates and progress status reports. Our daughter has not only gained confidence in her abilities at school, she has learned tools to help her continue to thrive moving forward in school. Highly recommend Silki and her team and will continue to refer any friends to them in the future.

My son was really struggling with his reading. He would skip words, miss word endings, and hated practicing with me. (Also during a pandemic, his impatience and anger was only getting worse.) He would soon be virtually learning and having only his mic on in front of his whole classroom, we knew it would be a disaster. We signed up with Sylvan in hopes that direct learning with someone else would give him more incentive, and I am so grateful we made the choice when we did. After just a couple months he now reads with such confidence. He reads words fully and actually enjoys reading to me. He also loves attending his classes.. which in itself is a win. Calling Sylvan was the best decision ever!
