Went there for my new stove. Peter was really super and helpful. There had been a price change on the unit I wanted that put it at a higher price than what I had come prepared to pay, but he took the time to get everything sorted and I was able to get the exact item I had come for at the price I could afford. The unit was available for pick up on the day they had promised and it was quick to get in and out. Best part is that I love the range, too, so it just tops off an over all great experience.

BUYER BEWARE. We purchased an almost 2000 stove 4 months ago, and have now been 2 months without a working cooktop. Have had to use a 20 cooking plate to do all our cooking. CAS will hide behind a policy that \the manufacturer needs to do all the repairs\... what they won't tell you during the sale is the manufacturer has no incentive to do anything at all to help in a prompt fashion (right now they aren't even taking calls as there are so many repairs). CAS will also not do anything to help as they simply do not care about customers after you have given them money. It's actually a decent system for them if you think about it. I mean, who do you write a bad review of when CAS \just sells\ Frigidaire, and Frigidaire doesn't have a storefront to complain about? There is no accountability anywhere. Be aware that they are the best prices, but you get what you pay for: terrible customer service, a company that hides behind policy instead of doing the right thing in taking care of a customer, and salespeople who are more than willing to sell shoddy products promising we'll be taken care of if anything goes wrong (full well knowing if we have an issue we are on our own). We will never shop here again and hope you avoid it also!

My dishwasher stopped working on a Sunday evening. On Monday morning, I visited CAS and dealt with Peter Graham. He was very knowledgeable and within 20 minutes I had bought and paid for a new dishwasher. Peter told me he would contact me when the processing was finished. At 6:30 pm, Peter phoned me to say that the dishwasher I had ordered had been delivered to the store in a damaged state. He had spent all day locating a replacement which was comparable and the same price. I was extremely impressed that he would go out of his way in this manner. The dishwasher was installed on the Thursday and I am very pleased with it.

BUYER BEWARE! Purchased a washing a machine for my mother 2 years ago and paid extra for warranty. I have called several times, many times nobody answered the phone, nor was there any room to leave a message. A week went by before a technician arrived and determined the machine needed a part. Originally, they told me it would arrive in a week only to be told a week later that I had to wait for a month. Since I am not able to get anyone on the phone I went down personally to see if I could speak to someone to determine when this part would arrive. They are now telling me June. After a month of washing linens and clothing by hand, I was left with no choice, but to purchase another washing machine from another company. The product was faulty and there was no customer service and I was left to fend for myself despite having another 2 years of warranty. I normally do not post comments, particularly negative ones, but I do not wish this to happen anyone else, especially your mothers.

I didn't realize when I called that I was dealing with the Hamilton branch, but it didn't matter -- Kelly's service was top-notch, and she answered all of my questions. I purchased a GE Cafe slide-in double oven with an induction cooktop. This oven is AWESOME despite the hassle in trying to level the feet (GE doesn't tell you anywhere that you need a hex key to adjust the feet). LOVE my new oven, and the service I got from CAS. Would definitely purchase from them again.
