East Izakaya is a place recommended to me by a true foodie. It was very easy to make a reservation given the current time period we are all in at the moment. Upon arrival the waitress was happy when greetings me and followed me to my table. Another waitress too over and show me how to use the iPad ordering system. It was very straightforward and easy to use. Meals were delivered quite quickly and with very creative designs. Spices used were tasty. I would definitely recommend this place to someone looking for tasty food.

I love love love love this spot. I come here every weekend like it’s my duty! I don’t know how people haven’t discovered E. Izakaya yet. I wish I can say enough about this place. 10/10 food taste selections & variety 10/10 service 10/10 location 7/10 prices 10/10 cleanliness 10/10 in all aspects in mine and my family’s opinion
East Izakaya is a sushi experience. Super fresh seafood with an excellent variety hot dishes on the menu. Lunch or Dinner you will be impressed. Hot Skewers options come by your table as well. Staff are so tentative and can speak Mandarin. Can be very busy on weekends and holidays. Daytime metered parking lot, street and garage available very close by. Bus Terminal across the street. Free WiFi.
East is my favorite place to go when i want to treat myself and loved ones. Delicious food, super fresh and there's always something for everyone. I enjoyed each visit. Staff is super friendly. The reason why i gave 4 stars is i wish there would be more rolls options and eels But definitely i would come back.
When I decided I needed lunch and running to Toronto from Niagara I had no expectations on what I would find when East Izakaya came up in St. Catharines. Marvelous sushi all you can eat as I've had in a while. No reservations for a 3pm drop in but I was quickly seated and handed an iPad digital menu device. Service was quick and every tried dish was a treat. COVID protocols in place but offered little distractions to the ambiance.
