The staff especially the home department the ladies were amazing. And the rest of the ladies were amazing. They helped me pick out the perfect cookware. And telling me about the amazing sales. Then I told my girlfriend who lives in Calgary. Which she purchased the same set. We are very happy.
Usually I love this store and have a good experience but today I left leaving quite frustrated. I ordered a item and got an notification that it was ready for pick up, so u waited in line for 15 minutes, with a puppy that was showing that he was even getting impatient,. Yet the customer service people still continued to ignore me and take customer that definitely were not waiting i nearly as long. Finally a staff member told them that i had been waiting for a long time (didn't catch her name but she was on register 10) then just to find out that they didn't have it. It was refunded but the only notification I got was that it was ready for pick-up. The customer service ladies (older ladies with dark brown hair and short gray hair) were rude to every customer and did not seem to care at all. I also work in customer service and would never have been this rude especially to a customer that was patient and friendly as I was. I definitely won't be dealing with those ladies again. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Surprised and not surprised at the same time, to see the hunting section of this store almost entirely bare today. They had a decent amount of ammo considering it’s the spruce location. But firearm cleaning supplies, storage cases etc. Nowhere to be found. We are a month away from spring bear season. “Hunting pro shop” not exactly what I would call it. Guess I’ll be heading to cabelas for my cleaning supplies.
I stopped by today to visit the automotive department to pick up some oil. I picked up some oil and then went over to the automotive parts and service section, to get the oil filter that I needed, where they were six employees standing around to seem to be of a manager level three seem to be If an employer staff-level chatting about Tire changes and and then into topics that had nothing to do with their workday. Kenneth was one of the employees standing with an older silver-haired gentleman and a younger mid-30s, look to be new employee training at the till. Not of them offered to help me as I stood there for over 10 minutes. I was the only one standing there with oil in my hands waiting for them. Making direct eye contact and no movement. This has to be one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had at a Canadian Tire store. Finally, another employee appeared from behind the shelving, seem to be coming back from a break offered to assist. Whomever is doing the customer service training for the Canadian Tire store in Spruce Grove had better talk to their automotive department because this was disgusting. Shame on you!
