Transport Advocate. Lock Island Locks: Rideau Canal, Multi Use Trans Canada and Rideau Trails. River control dam and natural shoreline, open west edge of Smith's Falls. Advocate replacing Abbott North street bridge with permanent four lane ON-15 highway bridge, cycling lane with sightseing potential, refurbished bascule bridge as an urban landmark. Trail follows abandoned rail right of way, as well as approach road between Lombardy and Port Elmsie highways.
