Great place to bring the family for the day. There are a lot of cool old things and machines to see and learn about from the museum. The guides are great and very knowledgeable about the history of this place. My kid had fun. Just heads up, there is no heat inside the museum, its as cold as the temperature outside. Came here winter time.

Love this place. I've come here a few times over the years and it always impresses me with the detail and unique history in this area. If you are looking to explore outside the usual Vancouver sights this is one not to be missed. Dress warm in the winter as it's not heated outside the gift shop! But don't let that hold you back from enjoying the exhibits.

Great historic site to take your kids to learn about Steveston Village's fishing history. Nice gift shop inside the place. Photos Sanjib Dutta

When we toured through the old Cannery today,we all had memories of a hard life in gumboots. This old Cannery, with the pungent smells imbedded in its wooden skeleton brought us all back to a life and time when things seemed easier.
