Retro Games Bros is an awesome local business with passionate staff and excellent customer service. The brothers that run the store, Evan and Matt, are genuine dudes who love video games and strive to share that passion with their customers. While I wasn't able to enter the store during my recent visit due to COVID restrictions (which is a shame, because they have a massive collection of games and merchandise that I'm excited to check out), Evan and Matt still took the time out of their work to have a quick conversation with me and make me feel welcomed. I have no reservations about recommending them to others, and I'm excited to visit the store again soon!

Came here for my 2nd time which was on Saturday Dec 12. I asked them a day before to hold a video game system for me and not only did they do that for me but they also gave me a discount. I tried in the past to look for this certain system and they were the only place that had it and also had it in mint condition. Even with the curb side pick up it was very easy to deal with them as I called when I arrived, put on my mask and waited by the door. Took out my debit card and paid for my item and then I was out of there. Everyone should check out their site and see what they have in stock and go out and purchase what you need before it gets sold out. Once again they're very friendly and easy to deal with. I do hope in the future I can come back for other things I may need. Thank you again for a wonderful video game shopping experience.

Made my first purchase your store and I was in and out very quick with my item. They even allowed me to test the item to be 100% sure before I left the store it was working. Very friendly, they put my item on hold till I got there which other video game stores won't do but these guys do. Very clean store inside with prices everywhere so you won't get told a different price as what you see is what you pay minus taxes of course. I always wanted to visit them as I had a friend who lived near by their old location but I never had the chance. I spoke with them about an item I wanted to see if they had in which they didn't and was told they may have some more in before Christmas as many people want to trade in their systems and games for money. Overall from many video game stores I've been to over most of my life this store was way better than all of them. Other stores I go to they got people selling you something they either never used or know nothing about. These are two brothers who fully understand the video game market and understand someone buying video games and selling video games. I didn't feel I was being pushed into buying anything else from their store unlike other stores where you want an item or a few items and then they push you into buying more items. These two brothers were very friendly and knew what I wanted and that was it. I cannot wait to go back in a month or so and buy other stuff I saw in the store but didn't have the money for and plus that one item they didn't have in stock. Thank you for providing a friendly welcoming video game store where people of all ages can go into and not feel stressed out in what they should purchase. You took the time to allow me to try the item out, told me about other items I asked about and with that I'll be back in a month or so. See you guys again and Thank you.

Definitely the best Game Store in Toronto. Store is owned by two brothers who are a pleasure to always talk to, they know their games, and sell some great inventory at prices you cannot beat. Retro is all they're about, from the good ole NES days to even the PlayStation 3 (if that's consider retro as of today.) But don't worry, they got their current gen games with their incredible Switch selection. PS4 and Xbox One soon? Anyway, check this place out, as it is a must for any gamer, collector or not. Also their location is SICC. Can spend hours looking at everything!

Brought in some old games for trade-in, got decent in store credit based on the value that I used to pick up a few new things. I dealt with Evan and he was truly one of the nicest guys. I always have mixed experiences with one-off game shops because it feels like the owners are in it for the wrong reasons. Evan and I started by just talking about games at first, felt very friendly and I want them to know that this is the reason I will be coming back. Prices could MAYBE be better elsewhere (they have very fair prices) but if the customer experience is bad then they will never come back. I will definitely be returning with more trades as I hunt for more Zelda themed items. Many thanks.
