Very good food. Owner is very accomodating. They only do take out during the pandemic but we were able to sit outside.

I’ve been ordering regularly from this place since they opened years ago, and I love it. Close to home, great sushi, friendly service and a fairly large menu!! The owners are probably the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. CensaiRoll is definitely my go-to sushi place. Also the owners are always happy to fulfill my special requests for extra or alternative toppings (their spicey mayo & teriyaki sauce is slightly addicting it’s so delicious) and so I definitely appreciate that.
The miso soup is delicious. The sushi is phenomenal.

This place doesn't have to try hard as it is literally the only sushi joint between Sidney and Victoria. And try it doesn't. The nigiri and rolls were made with hard, stale rice and the fish and had a slight odour of baseball sock. Portions are well sized to ensure you remain hangry afterwards. Cleanliness was questionable as floors/tables were all slightly sticky as if somebody mixed up the 'Extra Strength Mr Clean' with 'Mr Pibb Xtra.' On the flip side, friendly proprietors and the food came quickly. No food poisoning.
