I had the dine out menu and was expecting everything to be small portions but surprised it wasn’t and also very delicious. I got the smoked duck salad, eel on rice and came with a parfait. We also got the fried chicken, shrimp fried rice and tried the ramen. Everything was really flavourful and the atmosphere is spacious. I would definitely come back!

We came here for my brother's birthday dinner ordering from their Dine Out Vancouver dinner menu for 2021 on Tuesday night. To make reservations on Yuu Japanese Tapas website and wait for confirmation your request is accepted. COVID protocol staff wore masks and between each table there were partitions. I ordered: 1) smoke duck patrami salad. - very tasty and great start with healthy salad right? :) 2) grilled unagi don - as this is in stone bowl, it kept super hot and made the rice crispy. I ended drinking the miso soup first and use the bowl transfer unagi and rice over to cool down before able to eat it comfortably. For me, there was a lot of rice which I couldn't finish. My brother and hubby finished all the rice. 3) Wagashi Boba Anmitsu - I loved this dessert! If you love green tea ice cream, boba and azuki red bean, you will love this. I added some food photo from my brothers and husband dinner. My two brothers both order ice-cream parfait and it looks super impressive. For 25, I feel this is a great value as it hit the spot and satisfying.
I was there for dine out, and the menu options sounded awesome. Sadly though my girlfriend and I left without getting to experience the food because service was poor. We were promptly seated as soon as we arrived with a reservation. We sat and waited for half an hour without any server attending us as they took orders and served 3 tables that arrived after us. We will return one day and hope for a better experience.
Dine out here was awesome! Great value and quality. What was great? Appetizers: - Shrimp tempura was hot, fresh, and crispy -duck salad was unique tasting Mains: - volcano beef ramen has an interactive component where they pour stock over the hot stone and it sizzles and boils while they cap it cooking the beef in its own steam -unagi don- nice tray set with side dishes and unagi was fresh and stayed hot in the stone bowl. Enhanced rice texture which is crunchy at the bottom due to the hot stone bowl and every bite is warm throughout your meal DESSERT : LOVE the presentation. Cute mochi stuffed with white bean paste. Generic green tea ice cream but enhanced by Boba and red bean toppings. Service is average, but food is awesome and creative.
Great service. Price is reasonable. Ramen broth was tasty and unique! Tried four of their many selections so far and will try more in the coming future. The AAA beef spicy volcano ramen is a must try item if you can handle the heat! Besides Ramen, there are many more different dishes on the menu... Can't wait to visit the restaurant again!
