Very unprofessional. Salesman Derrick lied about work to be done to vehicle. Falsified saftey from Prime Auto was given with \certified\ vehicle. My brakes failed on the same day I picked up vehicle, leaving me stranded 2 hours from home, owner Tim said rental car was my problem and I was trying to get a \freebee\. When I picked up to vehicle after getting the brakes fixed at Starline Sales and Leasing (business attached to Pickering Town Cars) the check engine light came on within 3 hours of driving. I took the vehicle to a reputable shop to have an inspection done and it failed the saftey and Etest (this was supposed to be a certified vehicle). I told the owner Tim I wanted a refund for the vehicle after the MTO investigated the falsified saftey as I was still within the warranty period, Tim decided he was not going to honour the contract and said if I didn't return the vehicle that day (before MTO could inspect it) he would not refund my money (obviously he didn't want MTO inspecting the vehicle). I was originally told the transaction would only be 3 business days, it took 3 weeks to actually get the vehicle in my possession. It has now been about a month since giving my deposit and I have no vehicle and yet to be refunded in full. Both the owner Tim and salesman Derrick will tell you whatever they think you want to hear. Every day for almost a month I was given some excuse as to why they haven't come through on what they said they would do the day before. Every day they had some excuse as to why my vehicle wouldn't be ready until tomorrow. Avoid this business. Owner Tim has made it as difficult as possible for me to receive my refund in full. Almost a week after returning the vehicle, I have yet to be refunded in full.
My husband Robin and I bought a used 2007 Ford Escape from this dealership. The car is in very good shape. Tim worked with us to get it put in joint ownership with my Native husband to save us the tax. We were able to get just the right car in the best shape possible for the money we could afford here. Tim even took my old car to the wreckers for us in exchange for the price the wreckers would have paid us. It was worth the drive from Iron Bridge Ontario to Pickering. Thanks Tim.
Bought a car online for the first time during the covid-19 with out seeing it and it is a good car so far ! Tim was very straight forward
