I adopted a wonderful adult cat named Maxim in the summer. The staff are absolutely awesome to deal with, but sometimes it takes several days for a reply. Makes sense though, it is a busy place to be. The criteria to adopt is understandable, as pets are a commitment. Jill and the crew at Pet Save have lots of great knowledge to help educate others! The shelters are clean, and hardly any sick cats. It is great to see the love are care that goes towards them!

We adopted our cat here. They are great. The building is clean and the cats look like they are very well taken care of. We would highly recommend adopting from them.

Around this time last year my parents showed interest in a cat that had been at the shelter for several years. My mom reached out to Jill and was approved to adopt her; a date was set to pick her up. My parents live four hours away and drove up to meet the cat on a Saturday and pick up on the Monday. Everything seemed good to go; the cat did seem a little sickly. On the Monday when they went to pick up the cat, Jill told them no - she wasn't ready and needed to be vet checked. Why was this not communicated in the previous calls, texts and visits? They agreed on a date to adopt. Very disorganized. I feel terrible for the cats that miss chances to be adopted into great homes because Jill is a failure at running a smooth process. In the end, the cat did need serious dental work and was adopted out to a good home from what I've seen. Pet Save was certainly happy to take the donation of items my parents and I put together, though! They'll take your stuff and fall back on their word no problem! I would never recommend this place; there are many smaller organizations that are a lot more grateful for business and don't hoard hundreds of cats at a time with no intention to put the animals' best interests ahead of their own.

Not impressed at all. Went to PetSmart in hopes of getting started with the adoption process. Stood there for 15min and the volunteer (older lady) didn't bother acknowledging me and walked right by me like I didn't exist. You complain that not enough cats are getting adopted, yet you won't even talk to anyone serious in adopting. That or you have extremely poor profiling. Went elsewhere to adopt.
