I wanted a big dog, since that's all I've ever had. I went to go look at multiple shepherds/mixes, but before I could adopt, they'd be given forever homes. The dogs go quickly! After about a month of going every few days, I noticed the same dog was still there. Needless to say, she had some issues -- reactivity and anxiety, multiple returns. Not her fault. I gave her a chance, and brought her home. It was an adjustment, but a year later, she's perfect in every way, and incredibly happy.

I have obtained 2 cats from Windsor humane, and have 4 cats and 1 dog currently. I have gotten each pet spayed/neutered at the spay/neuter clinic, and the only thing out of all of them that I was less than satisfied with was one cats nail trim. Some were untouched, some were quicked(bleeding), and as a pet groomer, that was hard to swallow. I've never had any other issues, I think Windsor humane does a fantastic job, with what they do for the community, the program's they run, their food bank, and the dedication of each paid position as well as the volunteers. I can't recommend them enough, go find your new best friend!
