This is my son's second year at PALS and we could not be happier. After two years in public school followed by two years in a private school for learning disabled students, we finally feel like his needs are being met. We have seen great strides in his language, academics, and behaviour. Staff are professional and caring and tailor programs for individual students. Staff are also very collaborative and encourage monthly full-team meetings with parents and/or home-team therapists. The student programs are evidence-based and data-driven. Communication is excellent.

PALS has been a game changer for our family. Kiddo was in public school for a while, and although they tried their best, they were unable to offer the kind of support he needed. He was getting sent home 3x a week or not able to go at all if a support worker called in sick. I was so burnt out from fighting the ministry, sourcing out BI’s, managing the home team, trying to work..... if you know, you know what I’m saying. The public system was not built for my child. Then we found PALS. Not only is kiddo supported properly, I am supported too. We have been attending for 3 years now. Their staff are amazing, professional, qualified and they genuinely care about us. I never have to worry about behaviours getting my guy sent home, I really don’t have to worry about anything with them. PALS has the means and expertise to give my guy a tailored curriculum that is allowing him every opportunity to learn and thrive. I can imagine what SN parents and kiddos in the public system must be experiencing during this pandemic, how hard it must be. I’m over here breathing a sigh of relief that I don’t have worry about any of that. I absolutely recommend this school. I don’t know what we would do without them. Edited to add- there are some fake reviews on here. Please don’t give fake reviews any attention or sway, we all know what the internet and jealous competitors are like- although why someone would encourage fake reviews on a SN school is beyond me. Shame on people who give fake reviews!!!

I love this place. They do amazing work and care so much about every student who attends the school. Thanks for everything you do, amazing PALS team!

I am shocked the owner is deleting reviews by family members of children who have attended PALS in the past. Of course you won't find a record of every family member of student's in their records. But it does not falsify anything these families have gone through and have expressed through reviews you have now deleted in an attempt to silence them. Please be aware Andrea has deleted the visible rating of PALS and has deleted many reviews with many upvotes of people who feel a similar way as myself. Please do not silence how people feel about this society. Parents: please think twice before enrolling your child here.

Parents be very cautious in trusting PALS with your children's educational goals. I urge you to find ABA practitioners elsewhere in BC. This is certainly not the only autism school in BC, there are plentiful autism educational services around and schools with many ABA consultants and special education teachers with the necessary education and training to help your family's needs. I am unhappy my previous review was deleted by the owner. And not everyone uses their full legal names in their email addresses so to search for records of me is laughable.
