If I could leave six stars I would. My experience with Outdoor Essentials has been amazing. I have now purchased two pairs of Meindl boots from Sieghard. On both occasions they have gone above and beyond to help make sure every part of my experience was of the highest standard. Their attentiveness to detail, desire to meet all the needs of the customer, and overall care in the process is hard to come by these days. From my experience I would recommend Sieghard and Outdoor Essentials without reservation. If you're looking for outdoor equipment and a really honourable business, look no further than Outdoor Essentials!

Went out of their way to help us find and order a good quality cotton canvas tent for the Kispiox Valley Music Festival, a last minute emergency when our regular First Aid tent was unavailable. The tent arrived in time, was priced within our budget and was exactly what we needed. Our First Aid volunteer was very grateful (and we were all impressed with the service)

Very pleased with the service at this store! A few weeks of searching for Mountain Hunting Boots and lots of research brought us to this location. On our way back from Alberta, we called from Vanderhoof to verify if the store carried hunting boots and if they would still be open when we would be driving through Smithers. Much to our surprise, they gladly stayed open past closing time and were not only informative, they also provided quality customer care! I am definitely going to be going back for my family and I's outdoor apparel needs!!
